The New York Times Covers Breast Milk and Brain Development

On June 13, 2013 The New York Times published an article “Breast Milk is Good for the Brain, Scans Show” summarizing a study published online in NeuroImage. Researchers using magnetic resonance imaging have added to the evidence that breast-feeding leads to increased rates of brain development in infants.

  1. It is so sad that many women have turned to formula.The doctor said that they cannot account for environment and interaction with parents. However, breast milk is the best for a developing baby even with the other unpredictable factors.
